Mumbai. Chitah Yajnesh Shetty, Founder & President of Chitah Jeet Kune Do Global Sports Federation & Manasvi Mamghai, who was crowned as Miss India & Miss World 2010 and Miss Tourism International and the heroin of Upcoming movie “ACTION JACKSON,” graced the Sijo Bruce Lee 74th birth anniversary celebrated Chitah Jeet Kune Do Global Sports Federation on 26thNovember 2014 at Andheri Sports Complex, Andheri (w), Mumbai (India).
“I learnt Kalaripayattu for the movie, “ACTION JACKSON” & doing Action in film” said Manasvi.
“People should learn from 26/11 Mumbai attacks and learn martial arts for self defence,” said Chitah Yajnesh Shetty. “The Mumbai attacks coincide with Sijo Bruce Lee’s birth celebrations and citizens should take pledge to learn martial arts to thwart such cowardly attacks by terrorists,” he said.
other guests included Action Jackson producer of the movie Vihaan R Tanwani, Manjot Singh (Fukrey, Oye Lucky Oye, Student of the Year), Hemanth Birjey (From Tarzan), Surender Pal (Dronacharya of Mahabharat), Rajesh Khatter (Ranveer the Marshal, Race, Khiladi 786, Don 2 and many others) and Sameer Ali (Krishh 3, Happy New Year, also acted in Holly wood movie “ROCK THE KASBAH”
with Superstar Bruce Willies, Sahila Chaddha and others.
In addition to Action Jackson, another upcoming movie titled “Ranveer-The Marshal” – a Martial Arts based Bollywood film was associated with the event. It has been produced by Alok Rajan Sharma, starring Rishabh Rishi, Ramnit Chaudhary .
The Celebration had International invitees and guests from Sri lanka, Nepal, Afghanistan, Armenia and Thailand. From India, martial art instructors and students from 26 states and 15 schools of Maharashtra like Ryan International, B.M.Shetty,S.M.Shetty etc participated in the program and Sri Lankan Traditional Indigenous martial Art Association’s Guru also Present. Chitah Jeet Kune Do Global Sports Federation released its annual calendar during the event. Around 5000 calendars are distributed, as per the foundation.
Chitah Jeet Kune Do has trained more than 3 lakhs of women, a special module of Self defense, conceived and designed by the Chitah JKD federation. It has trained more than 300 under privileged children, 100 of special children during special workshops across India.. The organizing committee’s Mr. Kalathur Vishwanth Shetty, Mr. Lucky Sharma, Mr. Chandresh Yadav, Mr. Soummit, Ms. Simple are present.
