Westpac announced today that it will once again support the South Pacific’s premier travel mart, the Bula Fiji Tourism Exchange (BFTE), being held at the Intercontinental Hotel this month.
In a fortnight, this event will see 600 hundred people meet to negotiate holiday packages and deals to delight tourists from around the world.
This year, new buyers from emerging markets of China, India, South Korea, Thailand, the Netherlands and Malaysia are expected to attend the BFTE, along with traditional buyers of Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Canada and the US. The majority of the 130 tourist operators or sellers will be from Fiji with operators also attending from Tonga, Samoa, Cook Islands and Tonga.
