Hot and steamy weather continued over the west this past week. Occasional showers with afternoon thundery showers were evident. Ba had an impressive weekly accumulation of 124mm.
The highest 24 hour accumulation was 76mm for Monasavu on 29th January. A Tropical Depression – TD10F formed close to Rotuma later this week. Some isolated showers with northerly winds were experienced before TD10F weakened and moved further away from the region.
Weekend will continue to be hot and humid while afternoon thundery showers can be expected. Otherwise, no sign of any major weather systems on the horizon.
