Nadi Town Council is impressed with their current rate payers for owning up to the amount of money they owed.
“The council is pleased with the progress of our rate payers, so far we have received eighty percent of the amount that is being owed to us,” Nadi Town Council CEO, Nemia Tagi said.
Tagi also said they have been having meetings with the stake holders regarding the rates.
“For the last two months, the council has initiated awareness meetings with our stakeholders and rate payers.”
“Now we have started extremely from the Votualevu right down to Namaka. We had four meetings in Namaka with the stake holders to discuss about how they could improve on the rates they owed,” he said.
