The Nadi Rotary Club have handed over three of the five wheel chairs which they had received from the wheelchair Foundation Fiji.
The chairs have gone to worthy recipients and they were all most grateful as it becomes a need for people with disability.
“We did explain to all the recipients and their relatives that people from outside of Fiji have made this possible and gave a brief explanation about Wheel Chair Foundation and RC Nadi will continue to assist in the future with this very worthy project,” President of RC Nadi, Hemant Kumar said.
“These Organizations are our hands and legs on the ground,” added Mr Kumar.
Meanwhile, the Vodafone ATH Foundation is in the process of distributing 100 wheelchairs working very closely with NGO’s and organizations which deal directly with member of the public.
