NZ’s Emerging 7s team technical adviser Gordon Tietjens is planning to intake some players from this year’s Uprising 7s team.
“The matches are very tough and it is a really good experience, especially with all the players participating in the tournament,” he said.
Tietjens also said that this is really a good opportunity for their boys.
“I’ve brought my young players and yes, it their game and they’ve been performing well’” he said.
NZ Emerging 7s team has come back from behind to win their second match against URF Army, 24-5, after they lost their opening match against Uprising 7s, 21-7.
