The Water Authority of Fiji (WAF) advises its customers living in parts near Waila in Nausori that there will be an interruption in water supply today, Thursday 16th March 2015, from now till 4pm
Impacted areas include:
•Adi Cakobau School, Sawani Indian School, Sawani Fijian School, Navuso Primary School and Navuso schools
•Sawani Village and Navuso Village
•Sawani Hill 1, 2 & 3
•Koroi Rd, Jamuna Hills, Jalim Avenue, Salababa and Duilomaloma
•Old Butter Factory, Hasmat Avenue, Waila Feeder Rd and Waila Housing
•R C Sharma, Lal Singh Rd, Hookers Subdivision and Corbett Avenue
•Waila Treatment Plant Rd
The interruption in supply is due to repair works being carried out on a burst main at Waila Treatment Plant Rd.
The Authority advises its customers residing in these areas to store water for their immediate needs and use it wisely during this temporary disruption in supply.
However, water carts will be on standby to service the affected areas as and when the need arises.
Supply is expected to normalise by 5pm, today (16/04)
The Authority highly regrets inconvenience caused to its customers.
