All Freight Logistics Suva made an impressive start of their 2014 Inkk Mobile Battle of the Giants campaign as they thrashed Nadroga 4-0 at Govind Park in Ba earlier today, August 22.
The Gurjit Singh coached side gave their hundred percent as the same Nadroga side defeated them in the National League encounter earlier this month.
Inia Boko drew the first blood in the 19th minute as he neatly finished a cross from Ravinesh Karan Singh as Suva led 1-0 at half time.
The Joseph Nand coached side tried hard in the second half looking for the equalizer, however Suva doubled its lead in the 67th minute as Nadroga defender Ravinesh Dass’s clearance went into his own goalmouth.
Hardworking captain Pita Rabo got his name into the scoresheet as he scored Suva’s third goal while Inia Boko got his second goal of the match with a classic finish putting the final nail into Nadroga’s coffin.
Suva meets Navua in their second pool match at 1pm tomorrow while Nadroga will face Lautoka at 3pm.
