Fiji’s Ambassador-At- Large Major General Ioane Naivalurua says that all efforts to release the Fijian peacekeepers are continuing.
The Fijian envoy who is in New York to work on the release of the Fijian peacekeepers in the Golan region said that talks with all authorities have been progressive.
Fiji’s Army Commander Brigadier General Mosese Tikoitoga said that the team in New York have been actively working on the safe release of the Fijian troops.
“We are confident that Ambassador Naivalurua and other diplomatic missions that are relevant to this process will secure the safe release of the 45 peacekeeping troops”, the Fijian Commander said.
