Digicel Suva Volleyball League premier challenge title holders Red Faith will have to dig deep this week to defend their title against the Toba Two team.
The Toba development team has been the only team in the premier ranks to have defeated the Red team from Kinoya in the earlier round of matches.
Both teams are ably led by experienced hands in former Marist player and national rep Manasa Baleibasaga, the coach/player for Red Faith and Peter Zinck, the coach for the Toba team from Vugalei.
In the Super-Premier ranks, Cakau, once holders of the title will be testing their luck against the undefeated Marist boys from Kaunikuila.
The women’s feature match will be between Unix and Marist Saints.
Meanwhile, the race is on for who will finish top of the tables in the final two weeks of games. The Digicel League is scheduled to round off on December 20th with an open knockout tourney where teams will fight for cash prizes.
Only outside teams will be accommodated for the women’s category.
