Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama was briefed today on the activities of the Fiji High Commission in the United Kingdom and their associated role in advancing Fiji’s interests in the region.
The head of government was pleased to note that the high commission has been active with Fijian communities in the United Kingdom mainly comprising of those in the Armed Forces.
PM Bainimarama, who is in London this week for the annual sugar talks of the International Sugar Organisation will also be meeting with British government officials tomorrow, Thursday 27 November.
After talks in London PM Bainimarama will proceed to visit Fijian troops currently deployed with the United Nations Disengagement Observer Force (UNDOF) in the Golan Heights and UN Truce Supervisory Organisation in Lebanon.
