In light of the heavy rain warning that has been issued in some parts of the country, members of the public are being reminded to be mindful of their safety.
Of particular concern is the safety of our children and their tendency to play in the rain and in flooded areas. In the past, lives have been lost despite warnings by authorities to stay clear of flooded areas.
We are therefore pleading with everyone not to take the advice of the Nadi weather office lightly and ensure your safety and that of your loved ones is prioritised with the heavy rain warning in place.
