DRINKING PARTY LEADS TO DEATH OF 34 YEAR OLD
A 21 year old farmer is in custody following the death of a 34 year old farmer on Rabi Island Sunday, April 27.
Police say that the two were last seen with three others during a drinking party a little after midnight whereby it is alleged the suspect had started fighting with the victim.
While this was happening the other three men left the two and escaped with the liquor.
At around 6am a 12 year old student saw the victim lying in the village center whereby the neighbors were alerted and the deceased was then taken to the Rabi Health Centre where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
Investigation continues.
