A 17-year-old lost his life after a fire completely destroyed a two-bedroom house at 4am Sunday morning at Wailea settlement in Vatuwaqa, Suva.
The teenager was trapped inside the two-bedroom house when the incident occurred. Neighbors witnessed a loud sound and had seen a car engulfed in flames on the porch.
Meanwhile a thirty-three-year-old was found in possession of thirteen sachets of dried leaves believed to be marijuana in Tacirua settlement while police also raided and uprooted a house and two farms in Wainisasa, Baulevu where alleged drug cultivation was suspected to be taking place.
In the third case, another thirty-four-year-old from Namono Village in Nausori was found in possession of twenty-eight sachets of dried leaves believed to be marijuana.
