Students of Fiji National University Ba Campus participated in a clean-up campaign as their contribution in the fight against dengue fever.
“This was the first student initiative with about 10 students involved and we hope to do more in the future, “said Campus Coordinator Merewai Dolovale.
Ms. Dolovale added that the students were part of the Seventh Day Adventist Church Youth group and had volunteered for the dual activities in terms of carrying out the dengue clean-up campaign and the beautification of the Campus.
Ms. Dolovale said it was good to see students who could make a difference by channeling their time and energy towards a worthy and positive cause.
Students were provided with refreshments for their hard work.
