More than 100 New Zealand travel agents are expected to attend the first ever South Pacific Tourism Exchange Travel Agents Expo taking place on Thursday 22 May 2014 at the Pullman Hotel, Auckland, New Zealand from 5.30 – 8.00pm.
Host, South Pacific Tourism Organisation says that it continues to receive overwhelming support from the New Zealand travel trade and is calling on travel agents that wish to attend to confirm their registration.
The inaugural SPTE NZ Travel Agents Expo is aimed at introducing and connecting up to 100 top NZ retail agents and SPTE exhibitors and providing B2B opportunities under one roof with over 100 retail agents around the greater Auckland district invited to the event, which is filling up fast.
The SPTO initiated the travel agent exclusive event as an additional platform for Pacific tourism suppliers attending the 2014 South Pacific Tourism Exchange (SPTE) to directly promote their products and network to key front line New Zealand travel agents.
According to SPTO CEO Mr Ilisoni Vuidreketi, the SPTO believes that this as an ideal way to further grow business out of New Zealand through these extended agent networks and as a highly cost effective way to maximize seller presence and participation at the 2014 SPTE.
The SPTE NZ Travel Agents Expo is also consistent with SPTE’s role of promoting the growth of tourism across the Pacific, with SPTO having developed the program to help facilitate the coordination of a cost effective market place where tourism buyers and sellers can converge to conduct negotiations and meetings.
The timing of the New Zealand Travel Agents Expo 2014 has also been carefully chosen to coincide with South Pacific Tourism Exchange to maximize participation with the Expo a free flowing mini trade event with no scheduling of appointments between the agents and the exhibitors require, drinks and canapés served and great prizes drawn at the end of the Expo.
The inaugural South Pacific Tourism Exchange New Zealand Travel Agents Expo will be held in the same venue as the South Pacific Tourism Exchange, the Pullman Hotel, Auckland, New Zealand, starting at 5:30pm and ending at 8:00pm.
