The Coastal Rental Nadroga side managed to kick out Power Electric Suva side from the 2013 Inkk Mobile Battle of the Giants as they beat Suva by two goals to nil at Ba’s Govind Park today.
Goals came in the second half of the match with a penalty by Shivam Kumar into the 39th minute of the play while the final touch by the Stallions came into the 45th minute of the play.
Suva coach Gurjeet Singh said lack of discipline was the case of the loss, hence the team played well and the heat also played a major factor into the match.
Nadroga is now in contention to go into the semi finals while the whites being the first team to bow out of the tournament.
Meanwhile, the second super-premier match of the day between Rewa and the Crown Timber Navua side is underway with the Rewa side leading the Navua side by one goal to nil when this article went online.
