The Inia Naqia-captained Jack’s Nadi Rugby side is in full throttle to challenge the current champions Naitasiri and holders of the Farebrother Sullivan Trophy, for tomorrow’s fifth challenge of the Farebrother at Suva’s ANZ Stadium.
Naitasiri beat defending champions Suva 25-23 last week in the fourth challenge of the Farebrother Sullivan Trophy.
The Jacks management has announced yesterday that if Nadi wins the challenge against Naitasiri, the team will get a bonus of $10,000 that will be distributed among the players, coaches and staff members of Nadi Rugby, while Nadi has last defended the Sullivan Trophy in 2008 against Naitasiri in which they beat the side 20-9 at Nadi’s Prince Charles Park.
The Jetsetters will boast their side with the likes of some of its experienced players proving to be the x-factor for the side like Kelepi Ketedromo as the blindside, Aseri Buli as hooker, Viliame Ratute as the lock and Venisemani Ratubalavu as the sweeper full back who should provide all the space for the blues to change their fate this Saturday.
Meanwhile The Nadi side takes on the current champions of the Farebrother Sullivan Trophy Naitasiri at Suva’s ANZ National Stadium at 3pm.
