Moce secured an impressive feat in their first match of the Easter Qualifiers against Lakeba 2 by 184 runs at Albert Park today.
Moce won the toss electing to bat first and were all out for 260 runs of 50 overs with Kolinio Tawalokuci top scoring with 72 runs.
Lakeba 2 played short and fell short. They were all out for 76 runs of 26.3 overs. This is the second consecutive loss by Lakeba 2 after also losing out to Lakeba 1 by 2 runs.
In day one of competitions Lakeba 1 had won the toss opting to field. They won with 3 for 78 runs of 14 overs whilst Lakeba 1 were all out for 76 runs of 23.1 overs.
Ono i Lau also secured a win today against Komo. They scored 6 for 70 runs of 22.5 overs whilst Komo were all out for 69 runs in 20.5 overs.
Komo has secured both a loss and a win in two matches. In day 1 of competitions, they won against Oneata and were all out for 175 runs of 40.1 overs.
In tomorrow’s matches Moce face Oneata whilst Komo take on Lakeba 1.
