Offering their services to the people of Nadi town the Land Transport Authority hosted a Roadshow at Koroivolu Park, Nadi on Friday November 21.

“The nationwide roadshow started from the 4th of this month and it will be continuing in other parts of the country until next month,” said Mr. Bimlesh Chand, Acting Team Leader LTA Nadi.
“Last week the event was held in the central eastern division and next week (this week) the program will be held in the Northern and some areas in the central division.”
The Authority is creating awareness on its services and promoting road safety through the Roadshows. “This is a great opportunity for the general public to come on down to the roadshow and seek clarification on issues affecting them, and also access LTA services at outdoor locations,” said Mr. Chand.
“The Roadshow team is also letting customers know about basic road safety tips as we are the regulators and service providers of the LTA.”
Mr. Chand further added that it was indeed crucial that the public heeded safety tips imparted by the LTA thus the LTA slogan “Steering Fiji Safely”.
The Roadshow team will be in Nabouwalu, Savusavu, Seaqaqa Thursday onwards, and in Nausori, Nakasi, Nasinu on Saturday.
Due to public demand, additional Roadshows will be held in the western division soon this weekend.
