FASANOC President, Vidhya Lakhan will be ending his term on 27th March in the Annual General Assembly.
“Firstly I am a volunteer with FASANOC. Secondly in accordance with the FASANOC Constitution, I can only serve as President continuously for a maximum of 8 years. “
“I will be completing 8 years this year and will then step down,” he said.
Lakhan has served on the Executive Board as Treasurer from 1980 to 1996, as Secretary General from 1996 to 2005 and as President from 2005 to 2013.
Meanwhile, Dr Robin Mitchell who is FASANOC’s Vice President and President of Bodybuilding Fiji, Reg Sanday will be contesting for the FASANOC Presidents post in the AGM later this month.
