Kiwi Soul diva “Sassy” has arrived in Nadi ready to rock the New Nadi Farmers-Club tonight and tomorrow. Sassy’s unique vocal stylings are teaming up with local Lautoka band Claudy & The Reggae Vibe for an electric event packed with Soul, groove and a few surprises too. Her original soul album dropped last year and was a hit when she toured around the Capital and Vanua Levu, smashing sets at hot venues such as O’Reillys in Suva and Pontoon during the Friendly North Festival in Labasa. Sassy who is often described as “One of NZ’s best Female Vocalists” is becoming a household name in the local festival circuit, already having starred at Hibiscus and returning to the garden island for a second headline performance at the famous Tagimoucia Festival with an important environmental message – “Clean up Taveuni”. As well as her trip to Taveuni Sassy is a guest artist performing at Club Fiji Resort and will be a highlight at the Fashion Wear event for Fiji Fashion Week this Saturday at Sofitel Denarau.

NZ-born Sassy is proud to call herself a true “Marama ni Namosi” as her husband Rusiate Nabouta (ex-Lelean) is from a village right up in the interior called ‘Saliadrau’. Together they have 3 beautiful children who speak Namosi dialect along with Sassy herself.
With comments like “What a package…raw talent” and “Tremendous stunning voice” ok her youtube videos you will soon discover why Sassy is making waves in Fiji.
