Nadi, Thursday, June 12, 2014. Super Star and Internationally acclaimed female drummer Lisa Purmodh who is the proud daughter of famous Fijian drummer James Purmodh is all set to rock the stage tonight in Nadi.
The Sydney based music sensation is back home in Fiji to RECONNECT with her Fijian heritage and Fijian musicians. Lisa has recorded with international greats such as Damian Marley – son of Bob Marley.
She has performed with such greats as ‘3 World’, ‘ Cool Running’s’ and ‘Caribbean Soul’.
Lisa’s music style is FUNK, REGGAE, SOUL, R&B, and her explosive style has been seen in Mexico, Jamaica, Caribbean, Cuba, Miami, and Los Angeles.
