In the press conference of 2014 Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix, Hisense was named the official TV supplier for the racing event. Denis Napthine, Governor of Victoria, Australia and CEO of F1 Australian Grand Prix, Andrew Westacott, as well as major media outlets around the world attended the conference.
FIA Formula 1 World Championship is held by the International Automobile Federation (FIA) as the highest level of annual series of racing venues and also the world’s highest level of racing, known as the “world’s three major sporting events” along with the Olympic games and the World Cup. Australian Grand Prix is the first event of the annual Formula One World Championship and will be held at the Albert Park circuit in Melbourne from March 13th to March 16th.
Hisense, which has pursued state-of-the-art technology and high product quality, matches the F1 spirit. At the same time, as the top sporting event, F1 matches well with Hisense’s brand position. With Hisense products being more involved in becoming the official supplier at the world’s top events, this certainly demonstrates Hisense’s strong growth and acceleration around the world.
Since Hisense entered the Australian market in 2006, Hisense market share has continued to increase. Hisense is now a top-5 brand in Australia in terms of TVs and refrigerators.
Courts (Fiji) Limited is the local agents for Hisense in Fiji.
