Hon. Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama today received three newly appointed envoys to Fiji at his office in Suva.

The resident Australian High Commissioner to Fiji, Her Excellency Margaret Twomey met with the Fijian Prime Minister this morning at his office.

High Commissioner Twomey has served as Ambassador to the Russian Federation and Ambassador to East Timor.

The Head of Government also received the new Ambassador of the French Republic to Fiji, His Excellency Michel Djokovic.

Ambassador Djokovic was accompanied by the Head of the European Union Delegation for the Pacific, H.E Andrew Jacobs and the British High Commissioner, H.E Roderick Drummond.

Prime Minister Bainimarama also received the new non-resident Ambassador of Vietnam to Fiji, His Excellency Nguyen Viet Dung.

 

 

Earlier in the day, Ambassador Dung presented his credentials to His Excellency, the President, Ratu Epeli Nailatikau.
