The Hon. Prime Minister, Voreqe Bainimarama, held talks this morning with the new United States of America Ambassador to Fiji, Her Excellency Judith Cefkin.
The Prime Minister welcomed Ambassador Cefkin to Fiji as she undertakes her role as resident envoy.
This week Ambassador Cefkin presented her Letters of Credentials to the Fijian President Ratu Epeli Nailatikau and held separate talks with the Fijian Foreign Minister Ratu Inoke Kubuabola.
While based in Fiji, Ambassador Cefkin will also be accredited to Kiribati, Nauru, Tonga and Tuvalu.
