Fiji has qualified into the Hong Kong 7s Cup semifinal after brilliantly defeating the Australian side in the quarterfinal, 29-5 a while ago.
Samisoni Viriviri, Captain Nemani Nagusa and Jasa Veremalua scored for Fiji to lead 17-nil at halftime.
Sakiusa Gavidi scored his first try in the World Series after bursting through the Australian defence to score Fiji’s fourth try.
Jone Vota later scored another try to seal the victory for Fiji.
Fiji will meet New Zealand in the semifinals at 8:28pm.
In other quarterfinal results, Wales defeated Canada 28-14,Kenya beat Portugal 15-12 after kicking a penalty goal on the stroke of full time, New Zealand defeated Samoa, 21-14.
The Cup semifinal will kick off at 8:06pm.
The Cup final is at 11pm
