The Fiji men’s hockey team lost to Ireland in their second match of the world hockey league round two in India last night, 13-0.
This is Fiji’s second loss after they were thrashed by India 16-0 on Monday.
According to New Delhi, It was rated as a contest between David and Goliath and it turned to be one as favourites India demolished minnows Fiji 16-0 in their opening match of the men’s Hockey World League Round 2 at the floodlit Major Dhyan Chand Stadium in Delhi on Monday.
Meanwhile the mens hockey team will take on China at 8pm and the women’s team will meet India at midnight.
