Digicel Fiji 7s team ended their final match on a disappointing loss against Canada, 28-19.
Canada’s Taylor Paris scored the opening try of the match, followed by a conversion from Nathan Hirayama, 7-0.
Fiji fought back with a try from Joji Ragamate and a conversion from Ilai Tinai, 7-7.
Canada bounced back with two consecutive converted tries from Taylor Paris and Sean Duke that extended their lead in halftime, 21-14.
Fiji pulled a good start with Ilai Tinai scoring the first try in the second half, 21-19.
This wasn’t enough as Canada’s John Moonlight extended their lead to scoring another try to lead them to victory.
