Digicel Fiji 7s Head Coach, Alivereti Dere named the two teams that will participate in next week’s Uprising Fiji International 7s in Lautoka.
The two teams are made up of the 21 member squad currently in camp with another three players chosen from those that attended the fitness tests.
Dere said that the three players Apisai Domolailai, Inia Tukere and Leone Tabuarua were brought in to complete the FMF Fiji Warriors team.
He added that their participation in the Uprising 7s was part of their preparations for the upcoming Wellington 7s.
“We intend to work on the player’s individual roles, their combinations, set pieces and the game patterns. Following this tournament we will select the 16 players from these two teams, that will play for the Digicel Fiji 7s team at the Wellington 7s,” Dere said.

Forwards: Jasa Vermalua, Uliyasi Lawavou, Manueli Laqai, Lepani Botia, Setefano Cakau
Backs: Joji Ragamate, Ilai Tinai, Manasa Nayagi, Osea Kolinisau, Josua Tuiova, Niko Verekauta, Samisoni Viriviri.
FMF FIJI WARRIORS
Forwards: Jone Vota, Nemani Nagusa, Mosese Saunivanua, Apisai Domolailai, Inia Tukere
Backs: Sakuisa Gavidi, Viliame Navanua, Emosi Mulevoro, Vucago Banitabua, Eramasi Benito, Peni Ravai, Leone Tabuarua.
The Uprising 7s will be held on 18 and 19 January at Churchill Park in Lautoka.
