The body of a 33 year old Indonesian National is now at the Suva Private Hospital Morgue for post mortem examination.
According to Fiji Police, the man has said to die in Tahiti Waters, on board a fishing vessel, “Chokyu Maru” of which he was a crew member.
It’s alleged the 33 year old died in an isolation shower room which was guarded by two fishing crew as he was allegedly acting violently and threatened other fishing crew during a fishing expedition.
Meanwhile, Police are investigating the matter, but could not say if the vessel will be held at bay until their investigations are complete.
