The Commissioner of Police Major General Ben Groenewald paid a farewell courtesy call on HE Mr Huang Yong the outgoing Ambassador Extraordinary & Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to Fiji yesterday.
The Commissioner of Police commended the outgoing Ambassador’s resolve in strengthening the security cooperation between the Fiji Police and the Ministry of Public Security in China that was formalized in 2011 and looked forward with optimism to continue this goodwill with Ambassador Huang’s successor.
The outgoing Chinese Ambassador assured of continued support for the Fiji Police in capacity building, capability assistance and other forms of exchanges being hallmarks of the cooperation arrangement.
