2015 is the… “Year of Cleanliness!” says Raju Srivastav who’s New Year Resolution is to make India a clean and green Country. New Year’s resolutions are as easy to break as they are to make.
The loftier the resolution the tougher it is to hang on to. While some take it seriously. Amidst many Bollywood celebrities who are completely in support of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, Standup comedian Raju Srivastav too decided to give the campaign a boost by participating in it.
It’s the season for New Year’s resolutions, but instead of regurgitating the most common ones—like changing habit loops, exercising more, and being more productive—Raju has come up very unique and more unusual resolution lists from the diaries, letters, and personal effects of cultural icons. “Swachh Bharat Abhiyan” or “Clean India” campaign was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 2 October to coincide with Gandhi Jayanti. Raju took a broom in his hands to initiate the campaign and nominated several famous personalities to do the same.
Raju Srivastav said, ” My New Year Resolution list doesn’t end its just started. Just, hoping that the New Year will bring lots of colors and positivity in everybody life. It’s a noble and a rare initiative taken for our country which the whole of India supports. It seems like an age of genius revolutions in India. It’s a virtue which we need to follow.”
Raju Srivastav appeals to the society as a part of initiative Swachh Bharat Abhiyan; Cleanliness starts from home pick the broom and let’s make our Bharat Swachh. His residential society and members of Samarth Aangan came in full support and all participated in the mission along with Raju. “I am starting my New Year with this initiative and dream in my eyes that one day our country will be most clean and green country very soon.
I wish all my fans a Happy New Year.”
