20th November 2014. Suva. Fiji – Fiji Television Limited is proud to announce that it has been granted the Exclusive Television Broadcast License to broadcast LIVE the two (2) day coverage of the FMF Chow Games 2014.
Fiji Television Limited’s Chief Executive Officer, Tevita Gonelevu says that “Fiji TV’s association with the Fiji Primary School Athletics Association (“FPSAA”) on the two (2) day LIVE coverage will see Fiji One and Sky Pacific viewers witnessing the very best and talented Central and Eastern Division Primary School Athletics battling out their athleticism at the ANZ Stadium”.
Gonelevu says that an experienced production crew of 12 people from Fiji TV will be covering the 2 day event.
FPSAA’s President. Patrick Bower added that their partnership with Fiji TV will certainly give maximum coverage of the sport on the South Pacific’s biggest television company. Bower stated that FPSAA chose Fiji TV because they have a long standing relationship with them and moreso.
Fiji TV ‘s broadcast coverage is bigger allowing more viewers from Fiji and the 13 Pacific Island countries to watch and enjoy LIVE the talent of our primary school athletes from Fiji.
The Central and Eastern Division will see a total of 1500 athletes converging at the ANZ Stadium and competing in the track and field events. Most of the senior primary athletes will be closely watched by Secondary schools who will be earmarking them for next year’s 2015 Coke Cola Fiji Finals.
Fiji TV is known for its quality local and regional sports production, producing the annual Coke Cola Games, Farebrother, Fiji Football Association, Inter – district Competition. Battle of Giants, Fiji Swimming all IRB sanctioned tournaments in Fiji such as Pacific Nations Cups and many more.
The LIVE Coverage of the FMF Chow Game 2014 will be exclusively broadcast LIVE from 80m on Fiji One from Friday, 21’t November and Saturday 22nd November, 2014.
