November 28, 2014. 4R Electical Ba bounced back to winning ways in style after a shocking loss to AFFA All Stars in the first match.
The Roneel Kumar coached side thrashed NZ Nadroga Stallions 5-0 in a one-sided encounter last night.
Goals from striker Mavilako Nakama, Manasa Nawakula and Aisea Codro in the first half, while Ronald Lawrence and Kiniviliame Naika added their name to the score-sheet in the second half which keeps Ba’s chances alive for a semi-final spot.
Meanwhile, in other matches played last night, AFFA Sydney defeated Queensland 1-0 while Fiji neighbours Suva and Rewa played to a nil-all draw.
Karan’s Suva plays Queensland in the first match of day three today at 8pm (Fiji time), AFFA All Stars meets NZFFI All Stars at 9.15pm (Fiji time) before the official opening, Rewa plays NZ Vatukoula in the third match while 4R Electrical Ba battles Esy Kool Nadi in the feature match of the day at 11.55pm (Fiji time).
