A new dawn on the horizon for Victoria Tennis Courts

November 23, 2015. The Victoria Tennis Courts (VTC) was first built in 1979 and was last renovated in 2003 for the South Pacific Games in Suva.

Brace yourselves for a makeover reveal of one of the Fiji Sports Council’s longest standing facilities in Suva – the Victoria Tennis & Squash Courts in Knolly Street, Suva.

First built in 1979, renovated in 2003 and now 12 years later being revamped with new court astro-turf aimed to cater muli-purpose usage with markings for tennis and netball many of Suva’s sporting patrons can look forward to.

Featuring five tennis courts with astro-grass surface, two squash courts with glass-backed doors, seating for all, change rooms, showers and is fully fenced situated in central Suva, poses the perfect venue to get fit and active in sport heading into the new year.

An aspect with this new facility facelift has got all at the Fiji Sports Council excited with the anticipation of a boost in daily usage for tennis and squash enthusiasts in Suva.
