May was another fantastic month at the Outrigger on the Lagoon · Fiji as the resort continues to be a hive of activities.
The staff and management celebrated their monthly staff awards in colourful bula attire reflecting the cultural diversity of the vuvale. Since Mothers day is celebrated in May, Mothers were recognized at this month’s get together for their contribution to society and in the homes of the staff.
Several outstanding staff were identified in May for their high ratings from guests and for their dedication to their duties.
The “Front of the House” award was given to Sepesa Leweniqila of activities for his outstanding guest feedback at the resort and on trip advisor for his zumba pool aerobics and fun approachable nature. The “Back of the House” award went to resort Carpenter Log Nandan, for his all hands on deck approach for the pool project ensuring his team completed the bamboo roofing and for constructing a ‘stand out’ booth for the Bula Fiji Tourism Exchange.
Asmeen Abdul, the Weddings Manager was awarded the “Manager of the Month” for continuous positive guest feedback and ‘no task is too much’ attitude, with the current wedding bookings, Asmeen is on fire!
The “Here to Help” award was given to Milika Rokoraiviu, a Banquets attendant for her beautiful bula smile and her great service skills and excellent guest interaction.
The “How Can I Help” award went to Sereima Korobiau, a Talai Butler who’s dual role as an F&B administrator and Talai Butler diligently carries out her tasks and is conscientious about her work.
