The Fiji Police Force will ensure that this year’s 2013 Coca Cola Games will be incident free and a number of operational measures are put into play to ensure everyone gets to fully enjoy the spirit of the games.
Police will be stepping up security at the two day Coca Cola Games that kicks today and will ensure that law and order is maintained.
Chief Operations Officer ACP Rusiate Tudravu said this is to ensure safety and security for everyone at the games.
ACP Tudravu is warning people who are thinking of committing illegal activities to think twice, as police will be patrolling the area with their dogs to detect such activities.
Motorists are also advised to adhere to road rules, and PSV drivers are being asked to keep an eye on the waving of flags from their vehicles as it is a serious safety hazard to others.
