Guests at the 2013 Bula Fiji Tourism Exchange (BFTE) were treated to a sneak peak of the future of Bridal Couture at the InterContinental Golf Resort and Spa.
This morning’s event included a fashion show hosted by Hutch Looney of Brides Magazine where models showcased a fusion of designs from renowned local designer Hupfeld Hoerder’s Fijian Bridal Couture line.
Over the next three days, approximately 350 buyers and Sellers from around the world, have gathered to network, showcase tourism within the South Pacific region, and cement business relationships.
This is the first time InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort and Spa has hosted the event, and David Voss BFTE Secretary says the professionalism of the resort staff and management contributed greatly in making the event launch seamless.
“The staff at the resort, were crucial in the event going off without any hitches,” said Voss.
The event will conclude on Friday evening with an amazing ‘Gateway To The Pacific’ closing night. The event feature live entertainment from local pacific performers, and showcase the best of the award-winning InterContinental Fiji’s local cuisine.
