Digicel Fiji 7s now qualifies to the cup quarters after a remarkable comeback, after defeating Samoa in their third match, 33-7.
The side lost sorely to the host, England in their opening match 27-0, and managed to pick up in thrashing Argentina, 24-0.
Fiji started strongly against Samoa after Jasa Veremalua scored the opening try in the first two minutes of the match, 5-0.
The side showed some superb performance after Joji Ragamate blistered through the Samoan defence, to score under the post, after Samisoni Viriviri scampered his way and running easily to score a try, extending their lead, 19-0.
Samoa managed to bounce back, after Lolo Lui scored their first try of the match. Fiji led haltime, 19-7.
Fiji again started the second half with superb performances, scoring two tries from Samisoni Viriviri and Emosi Mulevoro.
Fiji will go on to meet Kenya in the cup quarters at 9.50pm, tonight.
In the other quarterfinals, New Zealand will take on Argentina at 9.28pm, Australia will play USA at 10.12pm and England will meet South Africa at 10.34pm.
The Cup semifinals will be at 2.22 tomorrow morning while the Cup final will kick off at 5.14am.
