As the Coca Cola Light Games draws nearer, students from the Northern division are excited to be part of Fiji’s most looked forward athletics event and see the new Stadium.
Speaking to The Jet Newspaper from Savusavu, Torch relay official, Roy Ravana Snr said the relay is so far overwhelming.
“The students here are so hyped up about the Coca Cola Light Games, they greeted us with meke, songs and the national anthem. Even the schools that are not taking part, were still happy to be part of the relay,” he said.
Ravana said tomorrow will mark their last relay in Vanua levu.
“Yesterday we covered all the secondary schools in Labasa, today is Savusavu. And tomorrow will be our last day in Vanua Levu,” he said.
The Coca Cola Games will be held on the 16th and 17th of next month.
