Kadavu lad Josefa Lilidamu has been called in to replace Tinai for the Japan 7s this weekend.
Lilidamu is currently residing and studying in Japan.
Lilidamu was also in Hong Kong last weekend, playing for the Asia Pacific Brothers team that is coached by Tana Umaga in the 10s tournament.
The wing will join the Digicel Fiji 7s team tonight.
Meanwhile, Fiji will play all its three pool matches of the Japan 7s on Saturday.
First up is South Africa at 1.44pm before meeting Spain at 5.51pm and Portugal at 9.19pm.
The Cup quarters start at 1.28pm Sunday, Cup semis at 5.08pm and the Cup final is at 7.33pm Sunday.
