The Fiji Warriors won their opening match against Brisbane Academy, 24-17.
Fiji Warriors had to sit out the opening round after their match with the Waratahs A Team was postponed due to bad weather in Sydney.
Warriors centre Nemani Nadolo scored their opening try in the ninth minute try, but went into a draw with Brisban Academy at halftime, 10-10.
Mataiasi Ucutabua and Nathan Hughes both scored to confirm the Warriors’ advantage and hold on for the victory.
The Warriors next match is against the Rebel Rising on Tuesday at 7pm.
