Akuila Qumi has resigned with Newcastle Knights through until the end of the 2017 season.
The New South Wales winger has agreed to a four year contract extension with the knights.
Uate is currently a three time winner of the Dally M Winger of the year award, and has played 90 matches for the Knights, scoring 70 tries.
The Knights open their season against Wests Tigers.
