Fiji Cancer Society Western Branch is calling on the public to join them in numbers in volunteering to spread the message of their purpose in the society.
President Milika Marshall said they need to volunteers to step up their education program that they usually conduct in the outskirts of Lautoka and Nadi.
“We will need a lot of volunteers to help out in mobile clinics that we do, help in registering people and talk to them, the fundraising and a lot of other works that we engage ourselves in,” she said.
The Western Branch is welcoming all western people to assist in carrying out all their programmes in the West for 2013.
The society also celebrated world cancer day yesterday (04.02.13).
