The Government of the People’s Republic of China, through the Fijian Government is offering four (4) Masters scholarship awards for the 2013-2014 academic year for civil servants.
The programmes on offer include International Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Policy, Master of Public Administration in Chinese Governance for Developing Countries, Master Program in International Relations and International Master of International Communication.
Acting Permanent Secretary, Public Service Commission (PSC) Mr Iliesa Lutu said all those who are eligible are being encouraged to apply.
“This is an opportunity to undertake further studies and the Government of Fiji is grateful for support shown by the People’s Republic of China to such a positive initiative,” Mr Lutu added.
The scholarship will pay for tuition fees for the period September 2013 to August 2014. Other expenses like allowances, accommodation, medical insurance, field study and return airfare will be covered in the scholarship.
The applications must include a filled application form, personal statement, undergraduate degree transcripts, two letters of reference, three recent passport photos, employment verification, a copy of the first page of passport and a foreigner physical examination form.
