The Pacific Institute Technology, previously known as NZPTC has now taken a greater step into building a better future for our children after it has launched its “Heritage Hamlet” at their campus earlier today.
Heritage Hamlet has incorporated all that is needed to make a visit a memorable experience with quaint mud ant thatch dwellings capturing the spirit of Rajasthan and typical village scenes spread over eight acres.
Institute’s Sports Academy General Manager Stephen McLellan said the people will witness and a lot of things from it.
“You will witness and partake in traditional games, enjoy the Live Dance and Music from World class performers and jump up on stage for the traditional folk dancing. There will be farm activities where innovative farming techniques will be on display giving visitors the opportunity to learn new methods of livestock farming including zero gazing,” he said.
Chief Guest at the ceremony, Honorable Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry Lieutenant Colonel Inia Seruiratu said this is really a good work by the intuition and hopes others to take into consideration.
“This is commendable and I do hope that local investors will follow soon, as its aim is to create farmer entrepreneur. This I believe supports government’s intention to create employment for the people,” he said.

He also mentioned that it will employ the best cooks and craftsman from the neighboring villages.
Seruiratu also added that this will help students in a lot of ways that will benefit them in the future.
“This will help to show case their talents as in opportunity to take part in farming and many more,’ he said.
Pioneer of the Institute and The Pacific Chairperson, Subhas Chandra said the purpose of bringing up this project is because he wanted to bring back the days of self sufficiency where every household had their own Livestock, Milk and Vegetables.
“While travelling in India, I noticed 70 percent of Indian farmers had livestock at their homes and through this they have made India as one of world largest procedures of milk. This made each farmer an entrepreneur, who in turn is giving employment to many white collar people.”
“We are creating platform performers to come and showcase their hidden talents to International markets and tourist which will give them opportunity to sell market perform in the international market which will give them lot of prosperity, fame and satisfaction,” Chandra added.
