37 year old woman was involved in a car accident in Rakiraki, last week Friday.
The national road death toll currently stands at 6 compared to 3 for the same period last year.
Police Spokesperson Ana Naisoro said the woman who was the driver of the vehicle died at the Lautoka Hospital yesterday.
A post mortem is expected to be conducted soon.
The other passengers remain are still recovering in Lautoka Hospital.
