The postponed match of Pillay Garment s Champions versus Champions series between Suva and Ba will now be played later this month.
The match is scheduled to be played on the 28th of this month which falls on the Public Holiday (Prophet Mohammed’s Birthday). This was confirmed by Fiji FA CEO Bob Kumar.
“The match between Suva and Ba will be played on 28th of this Monday at Churchill Park in Lautoka,” Kumar said.
The match was postponed last December due to the cyclone Evan. Ba was supposed to host the match at Govind Park.
Meanwhile, Suva Coach Gurjit Singh said they need to prepare well for the CVC to win the series.
Ba leads the CVC series with 3 points after beating Suva 1-0 with Avinesh Suwamy stunner at Nadi’s Prince Charles Park in December.
