Major sponsors Vodafone Fiji has hailed the performance of the Flying Fijians at the 2015 rugby world cup.

The team delivered very competitive and consistent performance against number 2, 3 and 4 ranked team of Wales, England and Australia in what was termed the pool of death.
There are many positives for the team from this world and if we can build on those positives, we can have a formidable side at the next world cup in 4 years time. However, these positive aspects must be retained and developed further.
The scrum and line outs stood out whilst the forward pack held their own against very experienced and much higher ranked teams. There were moments in some of the games which could have tipped the scale in our favor but these are bygones now.
“Nonetheless,, congratulations to our boys for an outstanding display of Fijian rugby and sportsmanship. ” To the coach and officials, thank you for guidance technical expertise which clearly stood out during the games. Collectively, you have made us all proud Fijians and a proud nation.
